After viewing this I got to thinking....damn, there's got to be thousands of 'practice' bombs in Lake Erie. Looks like each plane in it's TEST flight dropped 4 practice bombs. About 3/4's of the way through you see the bombardier open the bomb bay door and you see the shore line what has to be Lake Erie (Lake Huron????).
The Ford Motor Willow Run Plant made 8,685 B-24 planes. That would be 34,740 practice bombs in the lake if each one dropped 4.
